Arthritis Society: Langley Community Group


	Arthritis is a major cause of work absenteeism and the leading cause of long-term disability. The indirect annual cost of arthritis at $18 billion is primarily due to lost productivity. It is the second most costly illness in Canada. Dollar figures cannot convey the pain, suffering and deterioration of quality of life for individuals affected by arthritis and their families.
